August 2014 CU for SharePoint 2010

The KB article for August CU is available at the following locations:
  • KB 2889825 - SharePoint Foundation 2010
  • KB 2889831 - SharePoint Server 2010
  • KB 2883011 - WAC and Word Server for SharePoint 2010


Be aware that no project server related fixes were released in this CU

  • The Packages for August 2014 CU are available through the following links:

  • Download SharePoint Server 2010 August 2014 CU: 2889831
  • Download WAC and Word Server for SharePoint 2010 August 2014 CU: 2883011


After installing the fixes you need to run the SharePoint 2010 Products Configuration Wizard on each machine in the farm.

Notes:
Be aware that the August Cumulative Update for SharePoint 2010 is a Post-SP2 hotfix. It is recommended to have SP2 installed before installing the August CU.
Be aware that for SharePoint Server you have to install the SharePoint Foundation and WAC and Word Server fixes as well!

This CU includes all SharePoint 2010 fixes released since SP1. The CU does not include SP2.
