2. Please remember to get your laptop to the event as you would not be provided with systems at the venue. 3. We strongly advise you to install the following mentioned software’s on your laptop when you come to the session so that you do not waste time in between the sessions which could hamper your learning.
Setting up the environment: a. Install Web platform Installer : link b. Search for “Microsoft Windows Azure SDK or .NET” and download the same. This downloads all the dependencies automatically. OR a. Install Visual Studio 2010 (Express and it works very fine) link b. Run Windows Update to get VS 2010 SP1 installed c. Install SQL Server (Express) link d. Install Microsoft Windows Azure Tools and SDK : link
